Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard will return for the Gunners this month after a break in November.
Odegaard has not started a game since Arsenal’s Champions League win away to Sevilla last month. He left the Premier League game against Sheffield United with a later reported hip problem, but returned as a late substitute in the Carabao Cup against West Ham.
However, the 24-year-old missed the following games against Newcastle, Sevilla and Burnley. At least the last two absences are likely due to an unspecified training injury. However, there are no long-term concerns as manager Mikel Arteta hopes Odegaard will be fit again before the end of November when Arsenal face Brentford and Lens.

Mikel Arteta is not worried about Martin Odegaard
andquot;I will meet with the medical department to understand everyone’s situation and#039;and I think he will be back after the international break,andquot; explained the boss after the weekend and the victory of Burnley. andquot;But I don’t know exactly what the decision is.andquot;
As it stands, Odegaard is part of the Norway squad that has been called up for a friendly with the Faroe Islands and a Euro 2024 qualifier with Scotland. It’s unclear if he’ll stay with them, but neither game matters. The latest qualification does not change third-placed Norway and their position in the table, as they have a better head-to-head record over fourth-placed Georgia, while Spain and Scotland are already too far ahead and have both automatically qualified. The only way for Norway to qualify for the 2024 European tournament is through the knockout stages, with Serbia having to rely on Serbia automatically qualifying from the second group to qualify.
