Grant Holloway, an Olympic gold medallist and resident of Chesapeake, will be honored with a “Meet and Greet” by the City of Chesapeake on Friday. The event is scheduled for Friday, September 20 from 4-5:30 p.m. in Judge Eileen Olds Courtyard Park. With a final timing of 12.99, Holloway recently won the gold medal in the 110-meter men’s hurdles event at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Holloway previously took home a silver medal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
