Detroit Lions defensive tackle Brodric Martin is seen after a game against the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024 in Kansas City, Mo.
Brodric Martin, a recent third-round defensive line selection for the Detroit Lions, went down with a knee injury during the preseason that landed him on injured reserve as the season started.
But Martin was spotted at Thursday’s practice, watching drills and listening to instructions, a welcome sign at this stage of his recovery. The big defensive tackle said it was his first time back on the field with his teammates like that since suffering the knee injury in the preseason.
