Sevilla working on Arsenal transfer
Sevilla are reportedly hopeful of sealing the transfer of Sambi Lokonga from Arsenal ‘next week.’
Following the departure of Rafa Mir, Lokonga is said to be the next priority. Spanish journalist Maximo Ramirez claims that talks between clubs are ‘moving slowly’ but the ‘club’s intention is to strike a deal next week.’

Arsenal and Chelsea ‘bid’ for Nico Williams
According to Spanish publication AS, Arsenal and Chelsea have ‘put money on the table’ for the Athletic Bilbao star, Williams.
They add that Chelsea are willing to pay his €58m releasee clause and have offered the player a contract of €15m – three more than what he currently earns at the Spanish side.
It is said that Arsenal have put the money on the table, ‘both for the club and for the player.’
It remains to be seen what the outcome is as it is known his preferred club is Barcelona. However, the Spanish giants will need to sell players first before sanctioning a transfer.

Napoli make Victor Osimhen decision amid Arsenal links
The future of Victor Osimhen remains doubtful as he continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.
Napoli understood to have agreed to allow Osimhen to leave the club this summer. He is on the radar of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. Paris Saint-Germain have also been admirers of Osimhen but his £110million (€130m) release clause has proved to be too high for clubs, with no move close to happening yet.

Cedric Soares attracting interest
The Portuguese star, who left Arsenal upon the expiration of his contract, is said to be attracting interest from Ajax, claims the Daily Mail.
They also add that Nice and Stade Rennes are contemplating offering Soares a contract. Meanwhile, teams in Saudi Arabia have also been alert to Soares’ availability and two clubs in Turkey are said to have also registered an interest.

Arteta sent midfielder transfer hint
Mikel Arteta has been subtly told the type of midfielder he should bring to Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners priority is to sign a new midfielder ahead of the 2024/25 season with it very likely the addition partners Declan Rice. With that in mind, Claude Makelele has offered his verdict on Rice’s strengths which serves as a subtle reminder to Arteta.
Speaking to wettfreunde.net, he said: “Sure, he could do it (play as a lone six), but it’s always better to have a teammate next to you, especially when Declan goes forward, which he always likes to do.”
“He had a great season at Arsenal and in this knockout phase he too can ensure that England go far.” Gievn his comments, the Gunners someone like AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana would be the perfect signing to still allow Rice to bomb forward.

Guehi Arsenal transfer update
Real Madrid have joined Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.
The central defender has significantly impressed for England at Euro 2024 with Los Blancos clearly admirers of his displays in Germany.

Arsenal Calafiori ‘agreement’
Talk about a transfer moving rapidly, with fresh claims suggesting that Arsenal have reached an agreement for Riccardo Calafiori.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, an agreement has been reached in principle between Arsenal and the Bologna defender which will see him sign a contract until 2029.
