Tottenham Hotspur is said to be interested in Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo when the transfer window reopens in January 2024.
On deadline day, the Manchester City school product was obviously connected with a move to French Ligue 1 club Monaco, but the deal fell through because Fulham did not have a replacement for him.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham has opened the door to signing out-of-favour Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
Adarabioyo will have six months left on his contract during the winter window, this could open the door for Spurs and others. The 25-year-old Premier League defender has 108 appearances for the Cottagers, but he felt the need for a new challenge.
Based on reports, Tosin is not popular at Fulham and will have a difficult time breaking back into the lineup.
In the mean time, it is known that the Super Eagles-eligible player prefers a move to Monaco over a move to Tottenham Hotspur, who did not make a firm offer for the centre-back during the summer transfer window.
To compensate for the departures of Japhet Tanganga, Davinson Sánchez, and Joe Rodon, the north London club may be looking for a center defender in January.
Tosin is a homegrown player with Premier League experience who meets the bill.
He has played only one minute for Fulham since the start of the season, sparking doubts over his future.
