TV, announcers set for Georgia football vs. UMass

The Georgia football team just defeated Tennessee 31–17 at Sanford Stadium over the weekend. And what did they get in return? a lot simpler matchup with UMass at home. Even though the Bulldogs’ conference schedule is already over, they still have a lot of games left. Another defeat would put UGA outside the committee’s 12-team playoff bracket, since Georgia is now ranked just No. 10 in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings.

It is crucial that Georgia gives UMass the same amount of attention as they would any other opponent, despite the fact that this is an easy game to ignore. The Bulldogs are accustomed to having a renowned crew call the game on one of the major TV networks. However, such is not the case for this weekend’s game against UMass, as one might expect.

TV and commentators are scheduled for Georgia vs. Umass. On Saturday, Nov. 23, at 12:45 p.m. EST, the SEC Network will broadcast Georgia’s matchup with UMass. Ashley ShahAhmadi will be wandering the sideline for the crew, while Dave Neal and Max Starks will be calling the game on television. As previously said, Georgia needs to win these final two games. They must, however, win these games convincingly as well.

If Georgia wins these games by a narrow score, the CFP committee may deduct them from their rankings. For a moment, consider that UGA’s victory over UMass is only ten points. Would that merit a CFP bid, in your opinion? Probably not. Given that Georgia needs to win these games by a significant margin to maintain their stellar record, Kirby Smart should be able to keep his squad laser-focused over the next two weeks.
