Former Ipswich Town youngster Tawanda Chirewa has returned to Premier League rivals Wolves after his loan spell at Derby County was cut short.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder moved to Pride Park on a season-long deal last summer but made just six appearances in all competitions for the Rams.
Chirewa returns to Molineux after the Championship side exercised their right to terminate the loan agreement this month.
He suffered what manager Paul Warne described as a ‘freak’ injury, when he picked up a calf problem in October, but returned to action at the end of 2024.
