On Saturday night, the WNBA All-Star Game of this year was hot, entertaining, and hilarious. Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever recorded the most assists (10) of any rookie in the history of the All-Star Game during her eagerly awaited All-Star debut. In addition to throwing out hilarious remarks to her teammates on the floor, she was dealing out dimes left and right. Clark announced to a teammate during a game that she was going to “launch a bomb.” See https://www.thenewstribune.com/sports/article290298204.html#storylink=cpy for additional information.
Before halftime, I’ll detonate a bomb, Clark pledged. As promised, she went on to attempt a deep three from the logo; in fact, Diana Taurasi of Team USA, who was defending Clark, seemed to be hoping that Clark’s shot would miss. Even though Clark broke the rookie assists record for the All-Star Game, he would only end with four points and shoot 0 for 7 from beyond the arc.
