MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Badgers Football Team signed 24 players to its 2025 signing class on Wednesday, making Head Coach Luke Fickell happy, despite a tough 5-7 season.
“With all the things that we had told them from, you know, the time we started recruiting them to through the summer, you know when when things don’t go exactly, how not say we told them how things were going to go, where we said things were going to go. But when when there’s ups and downs, all you can rely back on is obviously the trust, respect and love that you built with these guys and that. And that’s the relationships.” Fickell said.
He added “I think that’s what to me, more than anything is makes me proud of today and excited about today is a group of guys that are coming in that truly have a trust and respect, just like we have for them.”
According to Rivals.com of the 24 players the Badgers signed today 10 of them are 4-star recruits and 13 are 3-star recruits.
The recruits come from 14 different states, and 16 of the 24 will enroll early in January.
Fickell called it a “great day and an exciting time.”
