After the midfielder scored the game-winning goal against Manchester United in stoppage time, Declan Rice dubbed his first goal for Arsenal as “special.”
Arsenal came from behind to defeat Manchester United 3-1 in north London because to a spectacular late goal from Rice. The Gunners struck twice in stoppage time to secure all three points.
After Marcus Rashford gave the visitors the lead, Martin Odegaard had pulled Arsenal even, but Rice’s deflection goal under Andre Onana set up loud celebrations at the Emirates. Moments later, the Gunners’ Gabriel Jesus added a third, as Rice reflected on a significant victory.
“If we are being completely honest, Man City has won four out of four,” I believe. Rice told Sky Sports that if we hadn’t won today, we would have fallen behind by five points.
“To win today was essential. It’s ideal to start off with a few victories and a draw.
Rice’s goal was his first since leaving West Ham for a club record £105 million during the summer, and the England midfielder acknowledged it was a “special” occasion to score his first goal.
It is really unique. just to see it once more. I stated I had no control over the cost. However, I made every effort to shut that out when I arrived here because I want to be consistent. Although I’ve made a good start at Arsenal, there is still so much more I can do.
