Noah Lyles Explains Why Iconic Olympic 100m Win Still Falls Short of His Favourite Race

Despite the historic Olympic 100m win where he beat Kishane Thompson, Noah Lyles has his heart set on a different, more personal triumph.

Noah Lyles has made a rare confession as he ranked his favourite race, overlooking the men’s 100m final at the Paris Olympic Games.

In recent memory, the men’s 100m final remains one of the favourite races and most-discussed, but for Noah Lyles, it was just another race.

The race is one of the tightest, with Noah Lyles securing a win, five thousandths of a second faster than Kishane Thompson. The three-time world 200m champion and Kishane Thompson both clocked 9.79 seconds.
