GdS: Two done, two to play for – Milan still considering futures of Abraham and Sottil

There are four loan decisions to be made in the summer by AC Milan, and a report states that the verdict has already been made for two players.

Recruitment this season has been widely scrutinised, especially with the management set to make changes this summer. Even now, there are still questions being asked, but the summer should add further clarity.

Permanent deals may already be being discussed internally, and sporting director candidates may bring their own transfer targets, but there is a special middle ground where current loan players are involved.

Considering they are already with Milan, evaluations are constantly being made, but a final decisions are expected in the summer, though the fate of two players has already been decided.

For Kyle Walker, his stay in Rossoneri will be extended, as reports in recent days have stated. Whereas Joao Felix’s time at the club will come to an end, with Jorge Mendes already trying to find a suitor for next season.

This leaves Tammy Abraham and Riccardo Sottil fighting for their own futures. As Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News) writes, the Diavolo are uncertain about both at present. Sottil’s €10 million price ‘seems a lot’, which is a similar position to Abraham, due to the high figures demanded by Roma.

It seems a decision will only be made once the sporting director arrives, so until then, Abraham and Sottil must continue to work towards continuity.
