In the biggest matchup of Week 9, the Detroit Lions are in Lambeau for a big divisional match against the Green Bay Packers. The Lions, at 6-1, are off to their best start in nearly 70 years and currently hold the top spot in the entire conference. The Packers (6-2) are not far behind and can vault Detroit by defending their home turf.
It should be an interesting afternoon in Green Bay, as there is expected to be significant rain on the field. That could favor both teams’ run game, and both teams are very capable of running the ball. Detroit is averaging 5.1 yards per carry—fifth in the league. While the Packers are eighth in the NFL at 4.9 YPC.
