The Georgia Bulldogs’ victory over the Tennessee Volunteers, 31–17, was significant. Against Tennessee, three Georgia players who will be important in the future stepped up. Linebacker Chaz Chambliss, outside Since his freshman year at Georgia, Chaz Chambliss has been a vital member of the team, and against Tennessee, he produced his best pass-rushing performance to date. In the second half, Chambliss helped the defense shut out Tennessee’s offense with four tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for loss.
With five and a half sacks, Chambliss is now tied with Jalon Walker for the team lead. He also entered the game as a fullback and made a critical block to enable running back Nate Frazier get into the endzone to extend the lead to 31-17.
