When Florida football plays No. 9 Ole Miss on Saturday, it will be without its top three cornerbacks. Along with safety Asa Turner, the Florida Gators’ cornerbacks Jason Marshall Jr., Ja’Keem Jackson, and Devin Moore are still sidelined. In a difficult game against the Rebels, the Florida Gators (5-5, 3-4 SEC) will once again have a depleted secondary. With 365.7 yards per game, Ole Miss (8-2, 6-2 SEC) leads the SEC in pass offense. For the second week in a row, Florida will have to rely largely on Dijon Johnson, Trikweze Bridges, and Aaron Gates at cornerback to stop the Ole Miss passing threat.
The running backs Henry Parrish Jr., Logan Diggs, and Rashad Amos are among the four Ole Miss players who will not play. Tre Harris, a wide receiver, has returned to the Rebels. Harris has caught 59 passes for 987 yards and 6 touchdowns in seven games this season after being sidelined against LSU on October 12.
