The Gators are off this week, but there are still some other fun matchups to watch

Florida Football is on its second bye week of the season as the Gators rest up and prepare to take on Georgia next week in Jacksonville.
So Florida fans will need to turn their attention elsewhere this week. The following are five games to keep on your radar.
This kind of serves as a playoff eliminator for both teams as Navy is off to an unexpected 6-0 start and is ranked 24th in AP poll this week. A win over 12th-ranked Notre Dame could vault them into bubble territory of the playoffs with the backdrop of their annual game against Army to close out the season.
Notre Dame has been clawing their way back up since losing to Northern Illinois, and their opening week win over Texas A&M looks better and better each week. If the Irish can clear this game, their chances of making the playoffs will look much better.
Washington At Indiana – 12 PM on Big Ten Network
GameDay is in Bloomington as the Hoosiers are off to a 7-0 start and are starting to be talked about as legit playoff contenders.
Gator fans will be interested in this one because of Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti. As fans start to dream up their wish list of coaches they would like to replace Billy Napier with, Cignetti has become a trendy candidate. The biggest concern is his age as he is 63 years old.
But there are a lot of other checkboxes fans like, and this will be a chance to watch his squad in action.
Florida will take on Texas in two weeks as their brutal gauntlet in November will carry on. Even after their loss to Georgia, the Longhorns are still in prime playoff position moving forward.
Vanderbilt, meanwhile, has been punching above their weight all season and shocked the world when they knocked off Alabama.
Can they shock the world a second time?
For as bad of a season as Florida fans think the Gators have had to this point, FSU is en route to an all-time dumpster fire of a campaign.
The thing is, and part of what hasn’t been a good look for the Gators is that Miami has looked mortal since opening day. The Hurricanes have been taken to the wire by Virginia Tech, Cal, and Louisville in three straight games and have needed some beneficial officiating along the way.
If the FSU vs Miami game gets out of hand, this SEC clash also serves as a bit of a playoff eliminator.
LSU has won six straight, but their loss against Southern Cal hasn’t held up well. The Tigers still have Alabama awaiting them.
Likewise, Texas A&M lost to Notre Dame in the opening week but has compiled six straight wins.The Aggies have looked mortal since dominating Florida, with Bowling Green, Arkansas, and Mississippi State all taking them to the wire.
