. After a series of home struggles, the Cowboys clinched a victory, extending the Giants’ losing streak to seven games.

Rico Dowdle rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, while the Dallas Cowboys’ defense recorded six sacks and a pick-6 in a 27-20 win over the New York Giants on Thursday in Arlington, Texas.

Cooper Rush completed 21 of 36 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown as Dallas (5-7) earned its first home victory of the year, becoming the last team in the four major sports to do so. The win was their second in five days, keeping their slim playoff hopes alive in the NFC.

Drew Lock threw for 178 yards with a touchdown and an interception as New York dropped to 2-10, suffering its seventh straight loss. Lock made it a one-touchdown game with an 8-yard run with 2:18 left, but Dallas sealed the win when Rush connected with Brandin Cooks for a 3-yard pass on the very first play after the two-minute warning to secure a first down.

Dallas took control in the third quarter with two touchdowns, extending their lead to 27-10. Rush found Cooks for a 2-yard touchdown at the 11:37 mark, and Dowdle added a 4-yard rushing score just over seven minutes later.

Dallas finished with a 317-247 edge in total yards, completing a season sweep of the Giants.

Pregame discussions centered around how New York would manage offensively with its third starting quarterback in three weeks. Daniel Jones started against Carolina on Nov. 10, while Tommy DeVito took over last Sunday against Tampa Bay before leaving due to injury.

Lock led the offense, and the Giants took a 7-3 lead with 3:06 left in the first quarter, as Tyrone Tracy Jr. capped off a nearly seven-minute drive with a 1-yard rushing touchdown. However, Dallas responded quickly, taking the lead with two scores in just 15 seconds— a 33-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey and a 23-yard interception return by DeMarvion Overshown at the 11:29 mark in the second quarter. Graham Gano added a 46-yard field goal 3:21 before halftime to make it 13-10 at the break.
