The undisputed sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce joins the 100m line-up – Brussels

 

The women’s 100m is set to be the highlight of the 49th edition of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, taking place next Friday, August 22, in Brussels. The star-studded line-up has now been further strengthened by the addition of Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

With American breakout star Jefferson-Wooden, her teammate and compatriot Sha’Carri Richardson, Mai McCoy, and Daryll Neita already confirmed, the race was shaping up to be a high-calibre clash. But it gets even better.

Three-time Olympic champion and ten-time (!) world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will go head-to-head with her American rivals. This will be Fraser-Pryce’s fifth appearance at the Memorial.
