Juventus and AC Milan could soon be discussing a swap deal that would see Federico Chiesa and Alexis Saelemaekers go in opposite directions.

As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus think they may have found a solution to their Chiesa problem which suits all parties.

The Italian winger appears to be completely out of the new Thiago Motta project at Juventus and is frantically searching for a new club. Milan are one of the clubs that has been linked with Chiesa, and there could be a way to sign him without spending big on the transfer fee. Saelemaekers spent last season working under Thiago Motta at Bologna but they opted not to make the deal permanent given there was a change of coach, with Motta heading to

Juventus. The Belgian winger has been linked to the Bianconeri earlier in the transfer window. They may attempt to complete a trade so Saelemaekers can play for a coach he really clicked with and Milan can acquire Chiesa as an additional wide option. The primary problem is that Milan’s wage structure would be in conflict with Chiesa’s current salary of €5 million plus bonuses. However, Milan lacks Italian players in the squad, so signing an Italian would help with registration requirements.
