Georgia undrafted free agents tracker: Bulldogs who signed after 2026 NFL Draft

Georgia football players got the call many were waiting for during the three-day NFL draft that ended Saturday evening.

When the seven rounds and 257 picks were completed with eight Bulldog players selected, some players from the 2025 team were left to hook on with other NFL teams as undrafted free agents.

That’s the route Nazir Stackhouse and Chaz Chambliss took a year ago to make a roster.

Check back here to see where this year’s undrafted Georgia players landed:

Wide receiver Dillon Bell, Vikings

The Texas native is signing with the Minnesota Vikings, his agent told the Athens Banner-Herald. The team later announced the signing. Bell had 119 catches for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns in his career. The Bulldogs relied on Bell in various ways. He had 120 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns last season and 5 rushing touchdowns in four seasons.

Punter Brett Thorson, Vikings

The Ray Guy Award winner is signing with Minnesota, his agent, Jordan Donald, confirmed to the Athens Banner-Herald. A few teams “aggressively” tried to sign Thorson, but he felt like the best fit was with the Vikings, according to Donald. The team later announced the signing, noting that the Aussie native is an International Player Pathway participant.

Thorson wasn’t one of the two punters that went in the draft. The four-year starter averaged 45.6 yards per punt in his career. He had 15 punts last season of 50 or more yards.

Snapper Beau Gardner, Bears

Gardner has agreed to a free agent deal with the Chicago Bears, his agent told the Athens Banner-Herald. Gardner transferred from UCLA and won Patrick Mannelly Award in his second Georgia season for nation’s top long snapper.

Running back Cash Jones, Falcons

Cash Jones is signing with the Falcons, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report.

Jones is a third-down back who had 20 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown last season. Jones, who came to Georgia as a walk-on, rushed for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns in his career, but averaged 1.9 and 1.2 yards per carry the last two seasons.

Wide receiver Noah Thomas, Bengals

Noah Thomas has a free agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to an Instagram story he posted on his personal account. The transfer from Texas A&M had just 16 catches for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns last season after leading the Aggies with 39 catches for 574 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2024.

Safety JaCorey Thomas, Panthers

The Orlando native has been invited the Carolina Panthers mini-camp, according to a post on X from NFLDraft on SI that Thomas re-posted.

Thomas started eight games last season and finished sixth on the team 45 tackles and had a sack.

Running back Josh McCray

The Illinois transfer was a short-yardage specialist last season. The 5-foot-11, 250-pound McCray rushed for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns on 53 carries.
