Georgia drops trailer as calendar prepares to flip to August

 

 

Georgia’s social media team is working to tease the beginning of the 2025 football season. There are now five Saturdays between Georgia and its season opener against Marshall on Aug. 30.

 

The Thundering Herd will make the trip to Athens to face the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. inside Sandford Stadium at Dooley Field in 34 days. Georgia’s players are in Athens, taking part in conditioning as they prepare for the 2025 season.

 

Georgia’s trailer hints at that fact. A voiceover of Georgia head coach Kirby Smart echoes in the background, almost as a call to action, as camp begins this upcoming week.

“When I look around the room, I see intent, intent is what am I getting ready to go out there to do,” Smart tells the Georgia locker room ahead of a past game. “What’s my purpose?”

 

Faces of expected returners Christen Miller, KJ Bolden and Oscar Delp were featured throughout the 51-second clip. The Bulldogs’ first two games are taking place in Athens. The program also announced that single-game tickets are now on sale for those first two contenst, which include match ups with Marshall and Austin Peay. Additionally, tickets are now on sale for Georgia’s Nov. 22 matchup with UNC-Charlotte in Athens.
