Nottingham Forest solidified their position in the Premier League top four on Saturday (8 March) with a crucial victory against Man City.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men defeated the defending Premier League champions by a goal to nil at the City Ground to grow the gap between them to four points in the table.
Callum Hudson-Odoi scored the only goal of the game which came in the 82nd minute as he beat Ederson at his near post to secure a crucial three points.
The goal left City fans fuming with their first-choice goalkeeper as they have called for Pep Guardiola to drop Ederson moving forward after he failed to keep the shot out.
However, Forest fans will only care about the fact that they are now in a stronger position in third place as they prepare for the final stretch of this campaign.
Forest also put pressure on Arsenal and closed the gap on the Gunners after Mikel Arteta’s men dropped two points against Man United on Sunday (9 March).
