Aston Villa’s Konsa Back on Arsenal Radar

Arsenal have renewed their interest in Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his defensive options ahead of the new Premier League season.

The England international has emerged as one of Arsenal’s preferred targets following injuries to key defenders William Saliba and Jurrien Timber. With both players facing periods on the sidelines, Arteta is keen to add another experienced and versatile defender to his squad.

Arsenal have already explored a move for Konsa and reportedly saw an initial offer rejected by Aston Villa. Villa are understood to value the 28-year-old at around £60 million or more, a figure significantly higher than Arsenal’s opening proposal.
