It has now been reported by the Daily Mail that Dean Henderson has been handed the starting shirt at Crystal Palace. The England international, who was ranked No. 30 at Crystal Palace, received word last week that Glasner’s starting number one for the 2024–2025 season will be him.
Sam Johnstone has reportedly requested to leave Crystal Palace as a result, according to The Athletic. The 31-year-old’s wish to leave Crystal Palace is rumored to have been granted, with the club acknowledging that he has been a model professional since joining on a free transfer back in July 2022. Selhurst Park staff is presently assisting the England international in his search for a new team. Johnstone is reportedly desired by Southampton, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Leicester, and Crystal Palace, who are hoping to pay £10 million for him.
