Detroit Lions play without starting center Graham Glasgow vs Steelers

The Lions lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-24 on Sunday, Dec. 21, at Ford Field in Detroit.

The Lions offensive line missed veteran starting center Graham Glasgow, who was ruled as inactive before the game started. Undrafted second-year lineman Kingsley Eguakun, called up from practice squad, started at center, his first career NFL start.

Lions left guard Christian Mahogany came back after being activated off injured reserve Saturday, but was often subbed out for rookie Miles Frazier as the second-year guard struggled in pass protection. Mahogany broke a bone in his left leg in a Nov. 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and has missed the past six weeks.

All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph, who has been out with a knee injury since Week 5, was placed on injured reserve and won’t be available for the Lions for the rest of the season.

Marcus Davenport questionable

The Lions have listed edge rusher Marcus Davenport as questionable to return with an apparent shoulder injury.

OL Kayode Awosika.
