Ipswich Town: Sindre Walle Egeli hailed by Graeme Bailey

Ipswich Town have signed Egeli to boost their attacking department. He will give ITFC more competition and depth up top.

The prospect has a bright future ahead of him in the game. He will be eager to hit the ground running immediately with the Tractor Boys.

Egeli broke into FC Nordsjælland’s first-team in 2023 and didn’t look back. He went on to make 43 appearances for the Danish Superliga side in all competitions and fired 11 goals, two of which came in this campaign.

What now for Ipswich Town and Sindre Walle Egeli?

Ipswich Town are back in action on Friday after the international break. ITFC face a home clash against out of form Sheffield United.

Egeli is in line to make his debut for the Tractor Boys. It remains to be seen whether he will start for Kieran McKenna’s side or will be utilised from the bench.

It has been a slow start for the Suffolk club so far this term. They are yet to win in their first four fixtures and have drawn three times.

Ipswich Town drew 2-2 with Derby County last time out. Jacob Greaves and Jack Clarke got their goals against the Rams.

Their upcoming opponents Sheffield United have lost all of their competitive matches under new head coach Ruben Selles, who has had spells in the past at Southampton, Reading and Hull City. He is under pressure from the Blades’ fanbase already.
