Georgia running back Cash Jones is set to return for his redshirt senior season.

Cash Jones announced on Instagram Thursday that he will return to Athens for another season in 2025 after having his best season yet in college football.

Jones, a Bulldogs running back, primarily made an impact as a pass-catcher. Georgia utilized his skills in space, with Jones finishing the season with 24 receptions for 275 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also ran for 27 yards and a touchdown, bringing his total rushing yards at Georgia to 238 yards on 39 carries over 4 seasons.

Most of Jones’ production came toward the end of the season, including a touchdown catch against Notre Dame in the 2nd round of the College Football Playoff.

Jones will enter next season without Carson Beck, who also made an announcement on Thursday, stating he will leave the Georgia program and enter the transfer portal.

Jones’ return is significant for Georgia fans. So far, 12 Bulldogs have declared for the NFL Draft, and 11 players have entered the transfer portal.

However, the portal works both ways. Jones is one of several key threats in the passing game for next season, joining USC transfer Zachariah Branch and Texas A&M transfer Noah Thomas.
