Major events like the ICC World Cup Cricket matches, the Jazz & Arts Festival, and the vibrant Lucian Carnival have strengthened the island’s reputation as a top travel destination.

Alfred will play a key role in promoting the island internationally, with her first official engagement taking place at the World Travel Market
Over the coming months, she will participate in a series of promotional events, representing Saint Lucia in key global markets. Additionally, she will don joint-branded apparel at select athletic events, helping to showcase the island on the world stage.
New Tourism Act to Foster Sustainable Growth
A major component of Saint Lucia’s long-term tourism strategy is the introduction of the new Tourism Development Act.
