Video Emerges Showing SHOCKED Rams Coach After Lions Get Screwed by Refs

If Detroit Lions fans thought the officiating during Sunday’s loss to the Rams couldn’t look any worse… well, the internet has delivered new evidence that somehow makes it even more infuriating.

A new video has surfaced showing the Los Angeles Rams coaching box in the seconds after officials announced that Colby Parkinson’s “touchdown”, the one where his knee was CLEARLY down before the ball crossed the goal line, had been reviewed and upheld.

Even the Rams Coaches Couldn’t Believe the Call

In the clip, as soon as the referee confirms the ruling on the field stands, one Rams coach reacts with a stunned, wide-eyed, head-jerking:

“What!?!”

Not exactly the reaction of a staff confident their player scored cleanly.

It’s the perfect snapshot of what every Lions fan has been feeling since the moment the replay aired. Parkinson’s knee was down, the ball was short, and the NFL somehow rewarded the Rams with a free touchdown anyway.

At this point, it feels like Detroit is playing against 32 teams… and the officiating crew.

This Lines Up With What Dan Campbell Already Told Us

On Monday, Dan Campbell told local reporters that he received zero meaningful explanation from the officials.

“They were just, ‘Hey, the call stands.’ That was as good as I got.”

Campbell also confirmed Detroit will be contacting the league office for clarification — though, as Lions fans know all too well, “clarification” usually comes in the form of the NFL saying:

  • Yep, it was wrong.
  • Nope, we aren’t fixing anything.
  • Good luck next week.

The fact that even the Rams coaches were shocked the touchdown stood just adds another layer to the absurdity.

Everyone Saw It. Everyone Knew. Everyone Except the Officials.

Fans saw the knee down.
Analysts saw the knee down.
Detroit saw the knee down.
The Rams saw the knee down.

But the only people who matter, the officials and replay center, somehow didn’t.

And now that video is circulating everywhere, Lions fans have even more ammo for their argument that this call cost Detroit in a massive way.

The NFL may not reverse the touchdown, but this moment won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
