The NFL playoffs kick off this weekend with 12 teams fighting for the Super Bowl title. In the Wild Card Round, the Commanders face the Buccaneers. Washington lost to Tampa Bay in Week 1, but has greatly improved thanks to rookie QB Jayden Daniels. The Buccaneers, after a rough 4-6 start, finished the season 10-7 to win the NFC South. Only one team can advance.

According to Madden 25, the Washington Commanders will defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-25 and move on to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The Commanders avenge their earlier loss to Tampa Bay, although the Buccaneers’ offense performed well, they ultimately lacked the necessary support.

They quickly took a 14-2 lead when Austin Ekeler scored a 9-yard touchdown run. In the second half, Tampa Bay briefly took the lead with nine unanswered points. A 4-yard touchdown pass to Mike Evans put the Buccaneers ahead, but they missed the two-point conversion. Washington responded with a 47-yard touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin to regain the lead.
The Buccaneers then found themselves in a tight situation. Even though they scored a touchdown, they still needed more to overcome Washington. And indeed, McLaurin struck again with a 52-yard touchdown reception.
The Buccaneers made a late push, reaching Washington’s 10-yard line, but ran out of time to tie the game. Washington Commanders secured the win and advance to the Divisional Round.
