The results from our latest SB Nation Reacts Survey are in, and NFL fans are showing strong belief in the Detroit Lions!

In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, we asked Lions fans a simple question: Are you confident the Lions are headed in the right direction? (weekly poll)

In the original article, we highlighted how confidence fluctuated during the season, typically only dropping significantly after a loss. Here’s a quick recap:

Week 1 opening: 99%
After a win over the Rams in Week 1: 97%
Loss to the Bucs: 79%
Win over the Cardinals: 92%
Win over the Seahawks: 99%
Bye week: 96%
Win over the Cowboys: 98%
Win over the Vikings: 98%
Win over the Titans: 96%
Win over the Packers: 99%
Win over the Texans: 99%
Win over the Jaguars: 99%
Win over the Colts: 99%
Win over the Bears: 91%
Win over the Packers: 98%
Loss to the Bills: 86%
Win over the Bears: 98%

Now, after a (revenge?) win over the 49ers, bringing their season win total to 14, Lions fans have spoken. Confidence has dropped slightly to 91%, though it’s still quite strong overall.

On the bright side, the national fanbase remains firmly in Detroit’s corner. SB Nation also conducted a national survey asking who would cover the Lions -2.5 spread against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18, set by FanDuel Sportsbook. National fans continue to favor Detroit, with 60% believing the Lions will win and cover the spread.

For even more optimism, 21% of national fans polled still believe the Lions will win the Super Bowl, the second-highest percentage after the reigning champions.
