Lampard Justifies Awoniyi’s Exit from Nottingham Forest to Coventry: He Was Frustrated

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has explained the reasoning behind Taiwo Awoniyi’s decision to leave Nottingham Forest and join the newly promoted Premier League club. According to Lampard, the Nigerian striker was frustrated by his limited opportunities at Forest and wanted a fresh challenge where he could play more regularly.

 

Awoniyi completed his move to Coventry City from Nottingham Forest in a deal reportedly worth around £9 million.
