Young forward Joshua Pitts has signed his first professional contract at Ipswich Town after joining from Southampton.
The 17-year-old has been with the Saints since the U9s and became a full-academy player at St Mary’s Stadium in the summer of 2023.
Pitts has been a regular goalscorer for their youth teams, making his U18s debut last season, but now joins Town on a deal until the summer of 2026.
He spent time with the Blues before Christmas, featuring in games and scored for the U18s in their 2-0 win at QPR in November.
The Portsmouth-born Pitts is a Maltese U18 international, winning his first caps during the last international break. He scored in a 1-0 friendly win over Latvia
