Former Ipswich Town skipper Sam Morsy is reportedly training with Wolves U21s after returning from his short spell in Kuwait
Double-promotion winning former Ipswich Town captain Sam Morsy is training with Premier League Wolves after returning from his short spell in Kuwait, it has been reported.
Iconic skipper Morsy left Suffolk on a free transfer in the summer and signed for Kuwait SC, in what was a lucrative two-year deal.
But the move didn’t work out, with Morsy departing the Kuwait Premier League champions after just three games, the last of which saw him see red in the first half.
While his departure has never been officially confirmed, the 34-year-old and his family are now back in England.

And, according to podcast Talking Wolves, Morsy has been training with the u21s side at Molineux, his hometown club.
There is sure to be plenty of teams interested in Morsy, although he can’t sign for a new club until the January transfer window opens.
In his absence at Town, summer signing Azor Matusiwa has taken his spot in midfield and his shirt number.
Morsy spent four years in Suffolk, leading Town to back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League.
