ASTON VILLA OPEN £65M TALKS FOR NICOLAS JACKSON AS UNAI EMERY PUSHES FOR BLOCKBUSTER CHELSEA RAID

Aston Villa have stepped up their pursuit of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, with talks reportedly opening over a potential £65 million transfer as Unai Emery looks to strengthen his attacking options before the summer transfer window closes.

 

The Senegal international has emerged as one of Villa’s leading targets at a crucial stage of the transfer window. Chelsea are understood to value Jackson at around £65m and, unlike previous approaches from other clubs, are looking for a permanent solution for the 25-year-old rather than another loan arrangement.

Jackson joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023 and subsequently established himself as an important attacking player at Stamford Bridge. However, his position in the Chelsea squad has become increasingly uncertain following the club’s continued recruitment in attacking areas.
