Gabriel Jesus: Once again really good off the ball in the final third. Won the ball off the Leverkusen defence on several occasions. A superbly taken individual goal to boot. Another who looks ready for the season to get going. 9.
Leandro Trossard: A real threat in the final third. Showed great composure to finish his goal and might have added more after that. Not always the best at set pieces but looked really dangerous. 8.
