Arsenal are now open to selling one of their most improved players

The Gunners made eight new signings in the summer transfer window, but they failed to recoup much money from their sales.

We already reported how Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for Ben White, but he isn’t the only player who is seen as transferable.

Gabriel Martinelli will also be allowed to leave if the right bid arrives.

Arsenal are open to offers for Gabriel Martinelli

Martinelli has been at Arsenal since the summer of 2019.

Nobody had really heard about the Brazilian back then, but he is now a full international and an established name in the game.

Martinelli struggled in each of the last two seasons at Arsenal, and his start to this campaign wasn’t great either.

However, something changed in the middle of September.

The 24-year-old came off the bench, scored and assisted against Athletic Club. He then scored a crucial equaliser against Manchester City and also found the net against Olympiacos and Atletico Madrid.

Up until his injury, Martinelli looked like Arsenal’s most improved player this season, but the Daily Mail have claimed that the Gunners are prepared to listen to offers for him.

It has been revealed that after a big summer, the North Londoners need to recoup some money, which is why the Brazilian has been earmarked as a candidate to sell if a big bid arrives, particularly from Saudi Arabia.

Martinelli will enter the final two years of his contract next summer. If Arsenal really want him gone, that would be the right time to cash in on him.

Gabriel Martinelli’s Arsenal wish may not come true

Martinelli loves Arsenal; there is no debate there.

The Brazilian joined the Gunners as a teenager, and he has come a long way since first wearing the famous red and white in 2019.

Back in 2022, Martinelli was asked about his future at Arsenal. The Brazilian publicly claimed that he’d stay at the Emirates his whole career if he could.

“If I can, I’ll stay here my whole life. I want to conquer things, as I said, I want to stay here and win titles, with these wonderful fans, my teammates,” he said, as per the Daily Mail.

In 2026, if Arsenal receive a big offer, Martinelli’s wish of staying at the club forever may end.
