Ipswich Town youngster Jayden Adetiba has signed his first professional deal with the club, agreeing a two-and-a-half-year contract.

The UAE Under-17 international joined Town’s academy from Arsenal in February and started his scholarship at the beginning of this season.

Adetiba, who turns 17 on New Year’s Day, was born in Dartford, before moving to Dubai at six months old. He lived in the UAE until the age of eight.

By nine, he was spotted by the Gunners, having impressed scouts while playing in South Africa. His family returned to the UK in 2018.

The pacey winger recently played at the U17 World Cup in Qatar and is a regular for the Blues’ U18s side.
