Robert Saleh’s tenure in New York hasn’t spooked at least one team. Saleh has been asked to interview for the Jaguars’ head coach position, the organization said Tuesday. Along with other notable names like Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Saleh is one of eight applicants on the team’s initial list.
As the Packers get ready for their playoff run, which starts Sunday against the second-seeded Eagles, the former Jets coach is assisting them. Many anticipated that Saleh would be a popular candidate for coaching this summer, but he excelled as a defensive coordinator with the 49ers from 2017 to 20 before accepting the position with the Jets.
