Following a collision with a teammate during Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, safety Jeremy Chinn of the Washington Commanders seemed to lose consciousness. Both teams’ players kneeled as the former Carolina Panther was attended to by Washington’s medical staff. Chinn collided with teammate Darrick Forrest while attempting to tackle Saints wide receiver Marquez Vales-Scantling. The players on the pitch requested medical help right away. Eventually, Chinn left the field with trainers at his sides.
The safety’s apparent injury is the second concussion for the Commanders on Sunday. Tight end Zach Ertz was ruled out for the remained of the game after suffering a head injury in the first half.
