Wes Burns was taken off on a stretcher during the first half of Ipswich’s game against Liverpool at Anfield.
The Welsh forward, who has appeared in 18 of Ipswich’s 23 Premier League fixtures this season, appeared to damage his knee when challenging Cody Gakpo for the ball and received treatment for several minutes before being carried off.
Both sets of fans applauded as the 30-year-old was carried off, which is often the case when there is concern in the stands about a player’s plight.
