Don’t understand”: Milivojevic left puzzled by news coming from Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace’s latest transfer decision has left Luka Milivojevic baffled.

Following his departure multiple teammates have reacted on Instagram, with Adam Wharton among those sending Andersen a message.

The sale has left Dougie Freedman scrambling for a replacement with Maxence Lacroix looking the likeliest arrival, with a £14m bid in the offing.

Now though, a Crystal Palace icon has expressed his utter bafflement at the decision.

How Luka Milivojevic reacted to Joachim Andersen joining Fulham

Like many fans, the idea of Andersen leaving for Fulham of all places has confused Luka Milivojevic.

He expressed this under Andersen’s post in a Fulham kit.

“How Fulham get you I still don’t understand. Good luck bro”, the Serbian commented.

He was not alone either, with former Eagles ace Martin Kelly also commenting with praise for the Dane: “Wow Fulham have just signed one of the best defenders in the Premier League. All the best mate.”

It is a move which is hard to get the head around as Fulham are hardly an upgrade on Palace and may in fact be a downgrade. But reports have suggested Andersen is set for a substantial pay rise at Fulham, which explains things a lot better.

Marc Guehi sends a heartfelt message to his former Crystal Palace partner

It was not just former players reacting, with Marc Guehi sending Andersen a message of his own, on his Instagram story.

“What a player. Best of luck in your next chapter, Joa! I’ll miss my partner”, the Crystal Palace No.6 wrote.

Guehi also commented on the Andersen post, writing “All the best bro, gonna miss ya.”

Guehi will continue to don the captain’s armband and Fabrizio Romano has quoted him expressing his delight to be captaining Crystal Palace.

“It’s a huge honour to be made captain of this football club.

”Now we look ahead to this season in the hope that we can create something like the momentum we had at the end of the last campaign”.

Hopefully, now this means Guehi will be retained this summer, despite continual links with Newcastle.
