Ipswich Town rapid signing now ‘close to completion’ – Transfer is on the way

Yesterday, Jens Cajuste’s transfer from Napoli to Brentford fell through, just when it appeared like everything was missing. The Premier League team reportedly withdrew from the agreement at the last minute, giving no reason why. He had even completed his medical examinations with Brentford, and was scheduled to transfer on loan with a purchase obligation—a deferred acquisition.

Next, there was discussion about a Premier League team expressing interest; nevertheless, the club’s name remained unspecified. That seems to have been Ipswich Town, and according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 25-year-old’s transfer to the recently promoted team is “close to completion.” According to Di Marzio, Cajuste’s medical failure with Brentford was the reason behind the deal’s breakdown. Ipswich Town is signing the Napoli player on a dry loan agreement, meaning there is no buyout option or commitment after the loan period, maybe due to health concerns. With any luck, he can pass this one’s medical.
