The NY Jets just can’t get out of their own way. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets are currently in the middle of a crucial AFC East battle with the New England Patriots in Week 8 — a must-win game as the team attempts to snap a four-game losing streak.

Yes, the Jets were forced to use all three of their timeouts within the first 15 minutes of the game. It doesn’t get much more embarrassing than that.
The Jets’ communication issues continue to plague their offense. Offensive play-caller Todd Downing has struggled to relay plays in time, and Aaron Rodgers has really struggled to snap the ball in time.
Aaron Rodgers and the NY Jets continue to struggle with offensive miscommunication issues
The Jets’ offense was bailed out by multiple Patriots penalties on their first drive, but they were able to score six courtesy of a one-handed Tyler Conklin touchdown. Their second touchdown drive was much more impressive.
An Xavier Gipson receiving score, the first of his career, was enough to put the Jets on top 13-7. Still, it’s hard to overlook the embarrassment that was that first quarter for the Jets’ offense.
Rodgers and the Jets need to figure out their communication issues. They need to find ways to avoid potential delay of game penalties and relay the play call quicker. This has been a frequent issue for the Jets all season, and it’s been amplified in recent weeks with the team utilizing more pre-snap motion.
The Jets have found ways to score regardless of their offensive communication woes. But the issues need to be cleaned up, especially against superior opposition.
