That’s not exactly the Goff chant we’re all used to hearing around the state of Michigan, but it is the name of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff’s first child.
Jared Goff and his wife, Christen, announced the birth of their daughter, Romy Isabelle Goff, with a post on social media in the afternoon of Tuesday, July 15.
The couple first announced they were pregnant at the NFL Honors red carpet in February, where Goff was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
Over the last few months, Christen Goff (formerly Harper) has been keeping people updated on her social media page, including when she shared posts from their “babymoon” trip to Santa Barbara in May.
Jared Goff, 30, is signed long-term with the Lions after agreeing to a new contract in 2024 that ties him to the franchise through 2028.
The couple is also featured in the newest season of the Netflix show “Quarterback,” where the 2024 season is chronicled and fans get a peak behind the scenes of what the Goff family’s life looks like, from fall walks through the changing leaves to setting up their Christmas decorations.
