After the Oxford setback, the Dawgs had to go hot and handle the Vols on a cold night. In his news conference following the game, Kirby Smart stressed how badly the Bulldogs are currently playing. As the season goes on, it is normal to anticipate an increase in injuries. All season long, Georgia has struggled with injured players. Nico Iamaleava did not score any touchdowns despite passing for 167 yards. Georgia’s last possession was a stunning item. Georgia began the drive from the 8-yard line, drove the field, and scored on the 12th play to grind out six minutes of the clock and put a climax on the triumph. Even after the Bulldogs added the insurance score, the level of supporter noise remained constant, despite my failure to closely monitor the crowd for departures as the game came to a close. Georgia still has two games remaining in the regular season that are not in the conference.
